Plaque on the left:

Located at the base of the Funicular station. It was placed by the
Norwegian Explorers of Minnesota and
The Sherlock Holmes Society of London in 1957.

Plaque on the right:

Located at the place where Holmes and Moriarty supposedly fought. It was erected in 1992 by
The Bimetallic Question of Montreal and
The Reichenbach Irregulars of Switzerland
