Original admisson ticket: 1930 radio performance
On October 29th, 1930, William Gillette did a single radio performance of “The Adventure of the Speckled Band”, as Sherlock Holmes, for the National Broadcasting Company.
It was the first performance of “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” radio series. The series lasted until 1956 and was most notable for Basil Rathbone and Nigle Bruce as Holmes and Watson from 1939 to 1946.

Lionel Wigram was producer for of the 2009 film and also created the original storyline. Wigram commissioned comic book and commercial artist John Watkiss to illustrate his version of Sherlock Holmes. Fourteen illustrations were created in total.
Despite numerous sources on the internet, Watkiss never created a comic book or graphic novel.

Sherlock Holmes Board Game
Released in 1975 by UK games company Gibson Games. Released internationally in 1976 by a variety of licensed board game companies.
Now fully licensed by the John N. Hansen Company.
Before gameplay begins, a “case” is drawn. Each area landed on reveals a clue. The clues can be real or fake. The first player to solve the case and make it back to 221B wins the game.
Eight expansion packs were released over a period of six years when the game was first released. They are no longer in production.
